Krista Schwartz

Principal Designer

Krista is the founder of Indicia and has been creating memorable spaces for her clients for over 20 years. It is her vision and creative talent that provide the bedrock on which the firm is built. Krista always delivers just the right balance of style with practicality. A graduate of the University of Minnesota College of Design and a long-standing Allied member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). When not designing Krista enjoys gardening, time at the cabin, and creating delicious meals for family and friends.

Anita Johnson, AKBD

Senior Designer

Anita has over 25 years of residential design experience and strives to honor the elements and principals of design; sometimes with a twist. Anita wants her clients to “love where they live” by bringing out the best of their personal style. She is an Associate Kitchen and Bath Designer (AKBD) certified with the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) and believes her being a good cook and baker helps her immensely in designing a great kitchen for her clients. As an artist Anita has a keen eye for color and one of her favorite sayings is “there are no bad colors, just unfortunate combinations!”
